We got to visit with the Drinking Cousins this month. Kelley, Kirby and Pat O'Malley came in to visit their Uncle Ed, my dad. Dad's cancer is back, sadly, and well, its just going to be a tough road ahead. No surgery for him this time around, as the cancer is in his jawbone. Throat cancer was found and major surgery in 1998. He healed for a long time with that, learning a new way to eat. Still he has many heart problems too, however this time we don't think it will be the heart that will be the end...
So we are just trying to spend a lot of time, and listen to some great stories and advice, and see lists similar to that of "1,000 things to do before you die" He mentioned to me that I should definitely go to Ireland. Fantastic! I think so too, I said maybe by the time I'm 50 I can go. He replied that I should go at like age 35, well too late for that! He laughed.
Nora & Erin are "baking cookies" right now in the kitchen as I type this. I'm liking having the computer in the kitchen, so much easier! They have every piece of tupperware out on the kitchen floor and stacking, pouring, and "baking". The imagination of a 3 year old is priceless!
